Tim Shutt – Cricket Development Manager

Responsible for the development of recreational cricket in West Sussex, both in terms of increasing participation opportunities in cricket and improving the quality of those participation opportunities. Strategic planning is undertaken through partnerships with sports development networks and areas of work include the delivery of club development programmes such as Clubmark and Chance 2 Shine, capacity development i.e. facilities and volunteers, and competition development at both school and club level. I also have county wide responsibility for the development of cricket for those with disabilities.

Alan Smith – Community Coach

Level 3 coach with similar remit in terms of increasing the quantity and quality of participation in cricket in the West but with the following key areas of work:

Head Coach of the Western Warriors Area Programme
Developing school to club links through the delivery of curriculum coaching
Supporting clubs with their coaching infrastructures
Upskilling of teachers and young leaders to create “sustainable” participation opportunities
