On the bowling it must be recorded that Harry Dunn, only turned to left arm orthodox spin bowling at the beginning of the season and produced two 3 wickets hauls.

Fielding:
The wicket keeping and fielding supported the bowlers well, Mike Askew, was outstanding behind the stumps, claiming 5 catches, 2 stumpings, his presence standing up, certainly pressurised the batters and had a big impact.
Harry Hood, took a great catch behind the stumps at Horsham
We affected a number of run outs, most catches were held.
Top catchers:
R. Collier 4
H. Dunn 3.

Player of the Season.
Harry Dunn.

Nonsense Stats!

We took 54 wickets, 21 bowled, 19 catches, 7 LBW, 2 stumped and 5 run outs.
Leading 6 hitter was Mike Askew, who also scored the most 5’s!

What a season, you have all developed as cricketers, made new friends, been great company and played within the spirit of the game
Many thanks to all the parents for your support...without you it cannot happen, thanks to all the coaching staff, clubs, umpires and groundsman.

I look forward to seeing many of you at Hove, for the presentation on the evening, on 3rd October.

Best Wishes,

Brian Towner
